1. How To format a newly installed hardisk on a computer
2. How To Partition a new hard drive / disk on a computer

In Windows XP or 2000

Click Start>Control Panel> Administrative Tools > Computer Management

Under Storage Click Disk Management

The new disk will be available there right click it to initialize it and then partition in
