Don’t forget to have a backup of your registry settings before attempting this hack:
1. Go to Start > Run and type ‘regedit‘ (without quotes)
2. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry entry “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList”
3. Right click on the right pane and add New > DWORD Value
4. Rename the new entry with the Username (Ex: Thilak)
This will hide the user from the Windows Logon Screen. You can login as the hidden user using the Windows 2000 style logon box (Assuming that you have turned off Fast User Switching).
